Dog of the Month

Gus is a 1 year old Boxer, his nicknames are Gussie, Gussers, Monster Tigger and we at DDG call him GusGus.  His favorite toy is his squeky ball or a tug rope and of course his “baby” which is any of his stuffed animals.  His favorite treats are dehydrated or fresh banannas & apples.  His favorite past time is playing with balls or playing tug.  He loves boat rides with his family, walks & being outdoors, he also LOVES the snow.  Gus also loves going to obediance classes with his mom & dad.  Best trick Gus knows is he can “pound” it and he will also stay as long as you want..well as long as he isnt to excited and he can ring a bell to let you know he needs to go outside and potty.  His personality is playful & goofy, but can also be laid back and “chill”…believe it or not.  His best friend is Teddy the “bug”, who comes over for play dates.  Gus is hoping to start hitting the Minneapolis dog parks this summer as his family likes to spend weekends there.  He livess with his mom & dad as well as human brother & sisters.  Gus is sometimes naughts and will chew on the bushes in the back yard, also when he was little he would chew on the nice beds in his crate.  His favorite thing about DDG is playing with his boxer friends Rocky & little Gus and he can be a crazy man, he even gets to jump on the staff to get “lovies”… he gets lots of “lovies” at home but isnt allowed to jump.  DDG favorite thing about Gus is his love for life, his playfulness and of course that face and his boxer wiggles.
