	Requirements to Play
	At Dog Day Getaway, the health and safety of the dogs is our #1 priority. All dogs are screened to ensure that they meet our health and personality guidelines. This type of cage free facility may not be for all dogs and Dog Day Getaway reserves the right not to admit any dog based on temperament and level of sociability.
	Health
	Dogs must be over the age of 16 weeks. Dogs that are 7 months or older must be spayed or neutered. Dogs must have documented proof of the following vaccinations: Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella (kennel cough). Dogs must be on a regular flea and tick preventative as well as a heart worm preventative. We also highly recommend getting a Lepto vaccine for your dog as well.
	Temperament
	Dogs must be non aggressive, not overly fearful, not exhibit signs of territory or possession issues. Dogs must be social, friendly and enjoy being around other dogs. Dogs must have understanding of basic commands (i.e. sit, stay). All owners are required to complete and sign ALL of our forms. Once forms have been completed and vaccinations verified your dog will go through a free 4 hour orientation where we evaluate how he fits into our program.
	Collars
	To ensure safety while at play, all dogs playing/staying in our facility are required to have on a break away/quick release collar. No buckle or martingale collars are allowed.
