I have been a dog lover my whole life & have had a house full of dogs for the past 10 years. Dogs are obviously my passion & after years in Corporate America in an industry that just didn’t fit, I was lucky enough to parlay my passion into a career. After a lot of planning & research we were able to open Dog Day Getaway in 2004, making it one of the first facilities of our kind in the Twin Cities. My vision for DDG was to be able to create a loving, safe yet fun environment that I would feel comfortable leaving my own dogs in. I wanted a facility that would also excel in the care we give our customers & we continue to make that an important focus each day. I am very fortunate to have found a great staff that help us carry out our dream & business philosophies. Mostly I am grateful that I am able to have a job that I love coming to everyday.
